Modeling and unified tuning of distributed power flow controller for damping of power system oscillations

In this study, the DPFC as new FACTS device that to can regulate line active and reactive power flow of the transmission line and provide enough damping to system oscillation modes. The initiatives of the presented work are given as follows: the mathematical analysis and current injection modeling of a new FACTS device based on distributed power flow controller are presented. A novel current injection model of the DPFC for studying on the low frequency oscillations is proposed for the first time.
